Compostable bags

Compostable bags are now being manufactured alongside our plastic packaging range. Compostable materials are being used for compostable food waste bags and packaging, compostable bin liners are replacing plastic waste bags in some areas.

Compost bags are made from starch and conform to EN13432 standards therefore they must compost in a given period of time 30 days, 60 days, 90 days etc. Compost bags are more expensive than virgin, recycled or biodegradable plastic and designed for composting only.
